Chetan Bhagat
Chetan Bhagat is one of India’s most popular contemporary authors, columnist, and motivational speaker. Known for his simple writing style and relatable storytelling, he has transformed modern Indian literature by bringing youth-centric themes and real-life struggles into mainstream fiction.
Born on April 22, 1974, Chetan Bhagat graduated from IIT Delhi and later completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Before becoming a full-time writer, he worked in investment banking in Hong Kong. His debut novel Five Point Someone (2004) became a massive success and was later adapted into the blockbuster Bollywood movie 3 Idiots.
